On Friday 4 September, the team of brave hikers tackled the Edale Skyline route to support CATCH Leeds, our charity of the year.
If you follow us on social media, you will have seen the team training hard over the past few months.
We want to thank everyone who has supported our team with positive comments and donations – your efforts really inspired our hikers to power through.
The training finally paid off and the team faced the elements to complete the intense 20-mile circular route through the heart of the Peak District.
Even the British weather could not dampen the spirits as the team got to appreciate some of the incredible views that the route boasts while knowing that their efforts were going towards a good cause and had the support of their colleagues and clients.
Given that the team endured 3,800 feet of elevation gain, it is no wonder they saw some incredible sights!
Yet the most incredible sight is the work that CATCH Leeds does to inspire the next generation.
So often overlooked, the children supported by CATCH are given positive mentorship so that they can achieve their full potential.
Over 1,000 children benefit from the daily activities that CATCH provide in the community space it runs and countless more benefit from opportunities, tools and resources they may otherwise miss out on.
