As part of our ongoing commitment to Candlelighters, a local charity that supports children with cancer and their families, our team are putting their best foot forward to take part in a 15-mile walk.
Following on from our successful pink dress down day and two-day bakeathon at the start of June, we will be embarking on a 15-mile walk for Candlelighters Pink It Up Week.
Set to take place on Friday 20 June, the walk will take place along the canal from Saltaire to Leeds.
The last time our team took on this challenge was in June 2023, when they successfully completed the challenge.
“We are excited to get back out along the canal again,” said James White, Director at Brown Butler. “All we can hope is that the weather is good and that we can raise some money for a worthy cause.”
This year marks the second year that we have worked to raise money for Candlelighters as the charity continues to do vital work.
All donations are welcome, and our team is already considering ways to continue raising money throughout the rest of the year.
By working alongside Candlelighters, we want to alleviate some of the hardship faced by families of children battling cancer.
Candlelighters do incredible work in the community, and we are proud to support them once more. There is still time for donations ahead of the 15-mile walk.
If anyone in the area would like to come out and show their support during the walk itself, the team would certainly appreciate it.
