Friday 4 September will see our intrepid team of hikers take to the Edale Skyline route in order to raise money for our charity of the year, CATCH Leeds.
The route boasts spectacular views but is an intense 20-mile circular route through the heat of the Peak District.
Taking approximately eight to ten hours to complete, the hike involves roughly 3,800 feet of elevation gain and is not for the fainthearted.
Preparation for the big day has begun as the team completed a ten-mile training walk with 2,000 feet of elevation.
All of this is in service of CATCH Leeds, our charity of the year.
Based in Leeds, CATCH aims to set children on a positive life trajectory by using the power of positive mentorship to access the greatness that exists within each individual.
The charity’s commitment to helping children achieve their full potential inspires us on a daily basis and is the motivation behind the walk.
CATCH provide opportunities, tools and resources to children who may otherwise miss out and it runs a community space that helps over 1,000 children access daily activities.
