One of Leeds’s leading independent accountancy firms, Brown Butler, has continued its growth with the appointment of Sam Ball and Pam Parker, as it looks to expand its senior leadership team.
The appointments mark another important step in the continued development of the firm as it continues to invest in high-level expertise across tax, audit and advisory services.
Sam joins the firm as a Tax Manager with ten years of experience in the profession and brings a strong specialism in corporate tax and advisory work.
In his role, he supports colleagues across the firm on complex assignments, offering technical insight and useful strategies that help clients to manage and reduce their liabilities.

Outside work, Sam is also co-host of The Investor Way, a popular weekly podcast, where he discusses UK stocks and shares.
Meanwhile, Pam joins Brown Butler as its latest Audit Director, bringing with her a wealth of experience gained across audit and accounts.
During her career, she has worked with a wide range of sectors, including manufacturing, healthcare, transport, digital media, electrical components, beauty industry supply chains, timber and multi-academy trusts.
Pam will focus primarily on audit in her new role, while bringing her additional expertise in other areas to the wider needs of the firm and its clients.
