After training with a national accountancy firm, I am now a Director in the Audit and Accounts department at leading Leeds-based firm, Brown Butler Chartered Accountants, having progressed from my position as a Manager.
With more than 15 years’ experience leading quality audit and assurance teams, I have worked with a variety of clients, from small to large-sized enterprises to international groups and organisations. My sector experience spans food wholesalers, farming, solicitors, property rental, manufacturing, and the not-for-profit sector, including charities and other third-sector organisations.
On a day to day basis, I provide expertise to my portfolio of clients including advice and support with crafting audit and assurance reports, group audits, consolidated financial statements, advising on FRS 102, Corporation Tax, client money assurance reviews and accounts preparation.
As an accountant and business advisor, I would describe myself as technically strong and a professional who will invest time in order to fully understand my clients’ businesses wants, and needs.
I am a fellow member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales (ICAEW), the professional accountancy body.
