I trained at a small practice in my home town of Scarborough and qualified as a Chartered Accountant (ICAEW) in 1988 before moving to Leeds and Brown Butler in 1990, initially as an audit and accounts senior.
In 2002 I progressed to my present role of audit and accounts manager, a role that involves managing and taking responsibility for a large portfolio of companies ranging from small owner-managed businesses to multi-million-pound groups in a variety of different industry sectors.
