This is a fantastic opportunity for a part time Administrative Assistant to join a leading firm of independent chartered accountants in Leeds.
Administration Support
We are looking for a responsible Administrative Assistant to perform a variety of administrative and clerical tasks as well as providing lunchtime/absence cover for our Receptionist.
Duties of the Administrative Assistant will include providing support to the full team, assisting in daily office needs and managing our company’s general administrative activities. Full training will be given and the admin role is one that will develop over time.
Responsibilities and functions
Assist with the distribution of stationery and resources and ensuring that appropriate stock levels are maintained.
Updating our Practice Engine Database and assisting with letter mailshots
Keeping a log of documents sent to Companies House
Ordering land registry documents
Ordering and returning boxes to our off-site storage company
Assisting with planning events
Execute duties such as photocopying and scanning
Implementing and assisting with Health and Safety procedures
Lunchtime Reception Cover
You will need to answer incoming calls via a switchboard and forward to appropriate person/department in a timely manner. Keep a call log and take messages when necessary.
Greet and welcome visitors upon their arrival and inform the appropriate person of their visitor’s arrival. Provide refreshments as required. Update Outlook calendar for meeting room bookings.
To provide cover for receptionists when they are absent, advance warning would be given where possible for this.
