As an Audit Director at Brown Butler, I bring a wide range of experience across audit and accounts to support a diverse portfolio of clients.
My primary focus is audit, but I spent much of my earlier career developing strong technical expertise across several areas, where I built long-standing client relationships.
I have an approachable style when it comes to audit and accounts and I am always genuinely interested in how businesses operate. This allows me to constructively challenge existing strategies and add value to the services I provide.
I particularly enjoy working with owner-managed businesses and have experience across a broad range of sectors, including manufacturing, timber, electrical components, healthcare, digital media, transport, beauty industry supply chains and multi-academy trusts. In these sectors, I’ve delivered voluntary, compulsory and internal audits.
My previous experience as a school governor and Chair of Governors has given me valuable insight into the education sector and the needs of academy trusts.
Alongside my audit work, I truly enjoy supporting the development of junior team members and contributing to the overall growth of Brown Butler.
I am also Club Leader and Treasurer of my local Young Farmers’ Club and support the running of my family’s dairy, beef and arable farm.
